Hotel Nieu is the first of its kind in Tshwane as it aims to obtain the first 0 carbon footprint net rating from the Green Building Council of South Africa. The boutique hotel focuses on sustainable urban living by promoting self-sufficient alternative living ideas where access to water, energy, food, security and transport is protected and is less and less independent on Municipal infrastructure. Rezoning in 2014 to establish the student accommodation development in Hatfield and again in 2017 to increase the density of the development. This development won the African Property Awards Development for 2015-2016. On behalf of Vaxovert (Pty) Ltd.
Javett Art Centre
Application for lease of air space from the municipality as well as application for air rights over Lynwood Road.
The intention with the development is to establish Africa’s foremost art gallery in order to exhibit art of the highest quality on a permanent basis. Art include the Javett Foundations seminal collection of the 20th century SA Artwork, the iconic Mapungupwe collection and selected pieces from the university’s various collection.
EVS Planning has been assisting First Land Developments Ltd a division of Rand Merchant Bank to do forward planning on the +/-2900ha piece of land situated in the northern area of Pretoria. The firm established and finalised all the existing Doornpoort townships in the city and has been involved with the project since the early 1980’s. The firm is still continuing to establish townships on the farm portion. The latest township that has been approved is known as Doornpoort Extension 45 which makes provision for +/-845 dwelling units.
Another township has also been approved for a small retail centre to service the residents in the area.
There are various other township applications in the process on the property and various subdivisions of this farm area have been submitted and approved.
